We're lovin' it.

The adidas Harden Vol 8 Joins The McDonald’s All-American Game Collection

The Three Stripes Brand reignited buzz surrounding “McDonald’s All-American Game” footwear with Anthony Edwards’ adidas AE1 in mid-March, and now it looks poised to revisit the theme on more of its latest signature models.

Next in line is The Beard’s adidas Harden Vol 8, the athlete having made an appearance in the 2007 star-studded matchup. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen the “McDonald’s All-American Game” grace James Harden’s shoes; it appeared on the adidas Harden Vol 5 back in 2021.

While that design featured a splash of blue, this pair takes a more simple approach with traditional red and gold McDonald’s colors against a black sock liner and outsole. The All-American Game logo appears on the tongue, and the forefoot features five stars in black on yellow stitch, a fitting nod to restaurant reviews.

No official release information has been made public just yet, but if the Vol 8 follows the precedent of the AE1 they should be dropping exclusively at Foot Locker in the near future. Fellow adidas Basketball stars Trae Young, Donovan Mitchell, and Dame Lillard were also All-Americans back in the day and have gotten “McDonald’s” versions of past signature shoes, so it’s likely their latest models will soon be given “McDonald’s” makeovers.

For now, enjoy official images of the adidas Harden Vol 8 “McDonald’s All-American Game” below and return to our Sneaker Release Dates page for all the latest updates.
