Kith And Columbia Go Hiking; Debut Three Collaborative Footwear Pieces

The transformation of KITH from streetwear outpost to true lifestyle brand has been a comprehensive shift. While sneakerheads still most vividly remember their ASICS work, the new-look KITH imprint has brought dozens upon dozens of other brands into their collaborative canon. A relationship minted in 2022, linking up with Columbia has since become a yearly event. Details just emerged about the 2024 edition, including three pairs of new footwear.

On our end, that section is of course is our top priority. Two silhouettes take center stage, the Columbia Newton Ridge and the newly formulated Montrail Trinity MX. The former gets two colorways, one representative of “red for campfires” and the other painted in “deep green hues matching the forest.” While the hard traction and functionality of the hiking boot certainly remains, there is a luxe atmosphere that arrives with the suede uppers and sleek cream-accented colorways on display with the model. The latter, the Montrail Trinity MX, was devised for this occasion specifically. A true trail runner style, it showcase that deep crimson in its palette while boasting cleated traction underneath a midsole marked by spherical protrusions throughout.

As with any modern KITH collection, the offerings don’t stop with simply the footwear. KITH for Columbia 2024 includes all manner of apparel as well as bonafide co-branded camping equipment. While certain pieces have launched both through their Monday Morning Program and in-person at the “Kith for Columbia Supply Store” pop-up in Aspen, the whole collection launches on April 12th via KITH channels. You can find galleries of the three footwear styles below, along with campaign images and shots from the Aspen pop-up.

For another big drop happening this weekend, take a look at the Air Jordan 5 “Sail,” launching April 13th.
