Here’s What The National Champion UConn Huskies Wore During The Big Game

The UConn Huskies bested the Purdue Boilermakers in the NCAA men’s championship game on April 8th, becoming the first team to go back-to-back since Florida in 2006 and 2007. That big a stage calls for special footwear, and Nike made sure its sponsored squad was looking its very best with a fresh pack of PEs treated in UConn-worthy red, white, and blue.

Key standouts include special Nike Kobe 8s and KD 16s, with each presented in blue and white-dominant treatments. While most of the team opted for one of those two models, others rocked UConn versions of the Nike Ja 1, Zoom GT Cut 2, and non-PEs like the upcoming Kobe 6 “Italian Camo”.
