Once again the Tar Heels claim a W in the merch department.

Michael Jordan Gifts The UNC Golf Team Air Jordan 9s And More

If there was ever a question who gets the best college PEs, each successive headline about the swag UNC athletes receives makes it clearer and clearer. Not long after the Air Jordan 1 “UNC” PE given to men’s basketball surfaced, the golf teams are responding in kind, showing off a care package that both the men’s and women’s team were given.

For our purposes, the footwear of course takes center stage. An exclusive Air Jordan 9 Golf PE is the crown jewel of what they showed off, bearing a few key distinctions that separate them from mainline drops. Though the recently released Air Jordan 9 “Powder Blue” is an obvious comparison point, these remove black from the equation entirely, instead totally two-tone between white and UNC blue. Of course, cleated traction lands on the outsole and the model swaps to its low-cut formulation as a result, ensuring no performance is sacrificed in the name of style.

The gear didn’t stop there, however, with athletes on both squads also receiving similarly clad golf bags, as well as matching sets of gloves bearing the school’s iconic argyle print. You can get a detailed look at everything UNC golf were gifted just ahead, all images courtesy of @uncmensgolf.

Shifting back to the public facing Jordan Release Dates 2024 slate, the Air Jordan 1 “Green Glow” shapes up as one of this weekend’s biggest drops.
