Jordan Brand debuted the Spiz’ike Low last year and keeps pumping out new colorways for the low-top’s introductory run. This latest pair might just be the most headline-worthy to date.
Sneaker purists often scoff at the idea of hybrid shoes, but the Jordan Spiz’ike is an exception. That’s because unlike some modern hybrid silhouettes with vague backstories, the Spiz’ike speaks to Jordan Brand heritage through its Spike Lee imprint and near twenty-year legacy, developing a clear identity independent from the signature shoes that inspire it.
Taken in an earthy “Neutral Olive/Dark Russet” mix, this pair evokes an unmistakable Travis Scott look most comparable to the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 6 “Olive” that dropped back in 2019. The “Neutral Olive” shade makes up the base on nubuck, suede, and elephant print panels, while the eyetsays and embedded TPU cage offer subtle contrast in darker shades. The lace toggle and Spiz’ike heel logo spice up the palette in “Dark Russet”, and a softer olive hue frames the design on the tongue, lining, and outsole.
