“Red Stardust” Paints A Rosy Nike Zoom Vomero 5

A smattering of strawberry shades for the Summer.

“Red Stardust” Paints A Rosy Nike Zoom Vomero 5

Whether you chalk it up to its comfort or Y2K aesthetics, the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 remains one of the most consistent money makers coming out of Beaverton. While the metallic-tinged versions we’ve gotten in the past year excel, we’ve also started to see more tonal outfits grace the silhouette. “Red Stardust” is the dominant hue for the latest editions, bringing another women’s exclusive to the Summer slate.

The titular color gets refracted into a couple adjacent tones, with baby pink treating the mesh and rich raspberry painting the suede and TPU overlays. As the public has come to expect, off-white also plays a major role in this design, dressing the midsole and continuing under the rubber traction unit on the outsole. Considering that the “Racer Blue” Vomero 5 we previewed last week was met with wide acclaim, this might signal that Nike’s strategy for the silhouette will play into consumer demand and provide more colorful looks for the turn-of-the-decade runner.

The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 “Red Stardust” is expected to drop in women’s sizing this Summer, retailing for $160. Catch official photos in the embedded gallery just under this.

In for another just-unveiled Swoosh shoe, check out the Nike KD 17 “Metro Boomin,” joining the KD 17 “Alchemist” in Durant’s producer pack.
