Sometimes less is more. What the Nike SB Janoski may lack in terms of state-of-the-art technology it makes up for in timeless design, its simple combination of a single ply upper and vulcanized rubber made it a true tentpole product for Nike SB. That’s held true since its 2009 introduction, and we’re not expecting it to change any time soon. For its latest iteration, the skate staples take on “Pacific Moss,” meeting it with a nocturnal sole underneath.
A frequent change-up for recent Janoski drops, this edition toys with the typical canvas construction, eschewing it entirely here for textured suede. Drenched entirely in the titular “Pacific Moss” olive hue, that section is largely the only one twisted for this colorway. Tight piping, throwback branding, leather laces and the vulcanized sole remain. That underfoot section is painted in midnight black, a complementary tone continued on the flush Swooshes at the quarter.
No concrete release date has been confirmed for the Nike SB Stefan Janoski “Pacific Moss.” However, we’re expecting a $95 retail price and a drop this Summer. Head below for full official images.
Staying with the Swoosh, the Nike KD 17 debuts on May 17th, with the KD 17 “Producer Pack” already shaping up as a major collection for the silhouette.
