"Persian Violet" accents animate this brand new look.

The Air Max Dn Reshuffles With Extra Swooshes And A Gradient Upper

Though the massive March launch for the Air Max Dn is in the rear view, the amount of effort and momentum behind their introduction was never meant to be the end of the silhouette’s story. Though we likely won’t get another dozen colorway day, the silhouette will remain a serious factor for the rest of 2024. It’ll likely get more experimental too, something we’re seeing the early stages of with the Nike Air Max Dn “Smoke Grey.”

Previous drops relied on monochromatic or two-tone colorways, keeping the one piece woven upper in a single shade. This edition charts a new path for the rookie model, creating a very sleek look with a grey-to-white gradient, possibly setting precedent for more off-kilter colorways in the future. Two graphic Swooshes also land on the upper, creeping towards the toe on the lateral side and landing almost exactly on the midline on the medial. They bring “Persian Violet” life to what’s otherwise a grayscale palette alongside the heel Air bubbles and several “Dn” badges.

The Nike Air Max Dn “Light Smoke Grey” is set for a July 6th release and a $170 retail price. Head further down for detailed images via JD Sports.

Sticking with the product line, we got confirmation of a Nike x Supreme Air Max 1 collection last week.
