On the back of its idiosyncratic design, the Nike Air Footscape Woven has pulled of all manners of colorways. From tonal treatments to off-the-wall ones, the cult classic kicks manage to strike true in either lane. Their latest treatment in “Beyond Pink” threads the needle between both those worlds, wearing bold, vivid color in a classic layout.
Though ostensibly a two-tone colorway between “Beyond Pick” and jet black, the the finer aspects of this shoe reveal a lot of hidden detail. The foxing section that connects the woven nylon to the midsole opts for leather, while the uppermost anchoring instead comprises of suede panels. Additionally, that lower portion tints towards mauve “Dark Raisin,” breaking up the profile with a slight bit of contrast. All the same, the combination of black and pink succeeds once again in this application no matter how it’s deployed, only compounded by the off-kilter hardware the Footscape Woven continues to champion.
The Nike Air Footscape Woven will likely hit Nike.com and retail shelves in the coming weeks- prepare for a $160 retail price upon arrival.
