Though the A.I. concepts stole the show at Nike’s Paris exhibition, the actual retail shoes unveiled were plenty intriguing. The Nike Jam and Nike SB PS8 stood out in that category, the latter pitched as the ultimate skate shoe, living up to its title by alleviating eight common problems in previous SB product. It seems we’re on the verge of the silhouette’s public debut as we’re getting images of an upcoming “Paris Olympics” colorway.

The colorway here echoes the growing Paris-centric Nike SB pack, the unmistakable blend of greyscale leopard print and aquamarine & sienna shading also expressed on the Nike SB Janoski and Nike SB Dunk Low “Olympics.” Coincidentally, the palette displayed here doesn’t present much of a novel look given that the “Bowerman” prototype unveiled last month also spotlighted blue & orange tonality. Nonetheless, the greatest strengths of the model are still on full display, relying on sturdy leather anchoring on high stress points while planting breathable flyknit construction elsewhere.

While this release lines up well with the performance gear that’ll be rocked by signature athletes for the upcoming games, it also slots into a stacked slate of Paris-themed retail drops. Jordan Brand is offering up the brand new Jordan 6 “Paris Olympics” and 2000’s Jordan 6 “Olympic” alongside the just-unveiled Air Jordan 4 “Olympics.”

As of writing, no concrete release date for the Nike SB PS8 has been revealed, but a drop around July or August seems likely. Enjoy detailed images ahead courtesy of @sharkicks1.

Sticking with the Swoosh, we got official images of the Air Jordan 4 “Oxidized Green” in anticipation of its July release.
