Nike Shox TL “Volt/Fire Red” Releasing This Fall

Nike’s Shox technology in general is having a real retro moment. The Nike Shox R4 has taken the lion’s share of recent releases, but don’t sleep on the Nike Shox TL, either- after a few months of laying dormant, the 2003 offering is back in electric tones of “Volt” & “Fire Red.”

While we’ve seen tonal, reserved treatments for the Shox R4, the Shox TL has always had a penchant for more expressive looks. Look no further than the it the Air Max Plus inspired looks that graced the silhouette last year. Though there isn’t a one-to-one archival comp for the palette at work here, it’s still just as high-octane, highlighted by a traffic light gradient on its mesh upper. Complementary accenting on the branding throughout and especially on the titular propulsion technology underfoot drive home that sprightly atmosphere and elevate this nocturnal outfit.

The Nike Shox TL “Volt/Fire Red” is expected for a release in the coming months. Dropping in women’s sizing, it’ll carry a $170 MSRP.

Elsewhere on the Swoosh slate, a banner month for Travis Scott shoes continues with the Air Jordan 1 Low “Elkins.”
