Get ready to see lots more from the Nike Air Max 90 Drift. Nike’s latest sneaker re-imagination marries one of the most popular Air Max silhouettes with a trendy, utilitarian aesthetic, delivering what might become the most popular “upgraded” Air Max interpretation in the Beaverton brand’s catalog. Three colorways have been previewed thus far, and now a new “Persian Violet/Dusty Cactus” pair adds the model’s growing rollout selection.

While the shoe’s synthetic-heavy tooling lends itself to a more modern feel, the colors on this latest take produce an unmistakably retro aesthetic, evoking popular “Aqua” palettes of the late 90s and early 2000s. TPU treatments on the toe and quarter wear “Persian Violet,” while the Swoosh, eyestays, midsole wedge, and heel patch add balance in “Dusty Cactus.” Both colors appear sporadically on the shoe’s secondary structures, save for a black rubber mudguard and matching sock lining and outsole.

Nike hasn’t floated a release date for any newly surface Air Max 90 Drift colorways yet, but it looks like they’re planning for a broad rollout in Fall 2024.
