His Kentucky era “Blue Arrow” nickname is also a touchstone, inspiring these shoes in broad strokes but leaving the Wildcats’ hue out of the equation. Regardless, it’s used in dazzling fashion on the Two WXY V4 model. While a full aquamarine execution would be enough to carry the design, snowy speckled accents throughout align well stylistically with the jagged “N” branding on either side.
On the lifestyle-minded 2002R, it’s a more meted treatment. That shoe is largely dominated by trademark neutrals, the “Carolina” tint playing a secondary role on underlying leather overlays. It presents two equally stylish options to rep the Nuggets, either on the court or courtside.
