Air Jordan 11 Low “Bred”, A Michael Jordan PE From 1996, Is Releasing In 2025

The Air Jordan 11 Low is a summer-time staple, often selling out en masse to Low-top fanatics who need to freshen up the rotation for the cookouts. We’re still steeped into Summer 2024, but we already have a good idea of upcoming 2025 Jordans planned for next year with the news of the Air Jordan 11 Low “Igloo” as well as this latest breaking update that refers to one of the lesser-known Player Exclusives made for the GOAT.

You might be thinking: didn’t Jordan Brand release these in 2015? While we did see the iconic original black/red colorway be offered in a Low, the upcoming 2025 version differs significantly in that the interior lining is black compared to the red seen in the one nine years ago.

While it may seem like a minor change, the upcoming 2025 version reflects a specific PE that Michael Jordan wore during the 1996 NBA Finals. While it may be difficult to discern the Low from the Mid from watching a TV screen, Jordan did indeed wear a unique version that chopped down the ankle while keeping the iconic mudguard intact. It’s also worth noting that the red-interior pair that dropped in 2015 was also a PE back in 1996.
