As many successful Air Max Plus colorways in the past have, this edition stays close to the model’s tropical roots. Again embracing aquatic themes, the gradient evokes the middle of the ocean, reflecting calm seas with “Dusty Cactus” at the midfoot before delving deeper as it works towards dark teal at the rear. That tri-tone ombre is reflected on the TPU panel in the center of the midsole, adding some more thematic ties in the margins.
