The Nike Vomero 5 Gets Another Contemporary Touch-Up

New styles keep surfacing ahead of summer.

The Nike Vomero 5 Gets Another Contemporary Touch-Up

The tech-runner trend is alive and well as we head into summer, and Nike has been hard at work dressing the Vomero 5 in different styles so as to capture as much appeal as possible.

We’ve seen metallic silver overhauls, monotone versions, and contemporary pairs surface in tandem over the last few weeks, a testament to the 2011 runner’s broad and expanding range. This latest pair fits well within the last of those three categories, carrying forth a somewhat “Mocha” aesthetic via an Ironstone cage and Light Bone/Phantom hues in the backdrop. A splash of Sesame displays prominently on the Swoosh before making additional cameos on the tongue and heel, polishing off the upper.

While it’s hard to be certain looking at images alone, the overlays appear to be crafted from canvas as opposed to synthetics. At the very least, the texture and color combination gives off that impression.

No release date has been set at the time of this writing, but pairs should begin tricking out to retailers in the near future for $160. Enjoy official images below and tap our Sneaker Release Dates page to preview more upcoming drops from the Beaverton brand.
