Get Your J-Pack Fix With The Nike Dunk Low “Astronomy Blue”

A familiar color combo meets some material changes.

Get Your J-Pack Fix With The Nike Dunk Low “Astronomy Blue”

While it’s become one of the most mainstream models in modern sneakerdom, the Nike Dunk has always had a knack for referential looks that pull from either elsewhere in the culture or even other models.

It’s that tendency that made pairs like the “J-Pack” so iconic and so coveted, and largely the demand for that theme of drops has persisted even amid a lull in the Dunk market. In case you can’t justify paying over resale for either “Royal” version perhaps the Nike Dunk Low “Astronomy Blue” can be a substitute.

It isn’t a one to one application of the iconic OG colorway, but any application of black & blue in this sort of way calls that ’85 pair to mind. Adding some extra life to this design is the material change that occurs at the back, swapping the rearmost panel from leather to mesh. While a slight change, it and the mini Nike tag that hangs from the Swoosh add some contemporary flair to the otherwise classic combination.

The Nike Dunk Low “Astronomy Blue” is expected to hit Nike.com & retailer shelves this Fall, landing with a $115 price tag. Enjoy official images below while we await this pair’s release.
