Updated September 5th, 2024: A release date for the Travis Scott Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Velvet Brown” is expected on December 21st, 2024.
From the Jordan Jumpman Jack to the Air Jordan 1 Low OG, Travis Scott shoes have yet to experience a slow-down in consumer interest. Unquestionably the most effective collaborator on the Nike/Jordan roster of creatives, Travis Scott and the Jumpman have hit gold with the popular reverse-swooshed take on the Air Jordan 1, and they’re planning to reap the benefits well into 2025.
A first look at one such future drop has arrived courtesy of @masterchefian. This upcoming all-brown Travis Scott Air Jordan 1 Low OG, also referred to as the “Velvet Brown” based on information shared by @zsneakerheadz, features an unrelenting use of the coffee brown shades across the entirety of the upper, bottom soles, and the interior. Typically, the Cactus Jack insignia will stand out via contrast stitching, the Jordan team keeps it subtle as a slightly dark shade of the earthy tone us on the heels.
Above the full suede exterior is a premium leather on the reverse Swoosh logo. Matching that darker hue is the plush interior. These images don’t quite reveal some of the finer details such as the insoles or the tongue labels, but additional looks are likely to surface soon. For now, take a gander at the images and stay tuned for further developments because these won’t be hitting stores until Spring 2025.
