Air Jordan Retro July 2024 Release Preview

It’s officially the second half of 2024. Time sure is flying, but typically the best sneaker releases of the year tend to fall in the Fall and Holiday seasons (case in point: the Air Jordan 3 “Black Cement”), so we’re prepared to get you ready for another six months of Jordan footwear releases to close out the year.

With the Olympic Games kicking off later this month, much of the focus will be on Paris, and Jordan Brand has that covered with an Air Jordan 4 as well as the re-issue of an Air Jordan 1 Low from four years ago. Two key collaborations from the heaviest of hitters in this industry will unveil their projects to the public — the Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 4 RM “Bike Air” aka “Grandma’s Driveaway” and the next A Ma Maniere x Air Jordan 3. For the ballers, the next chapter of Air Jordan will officially debut on July 23rd, 2024 (you can learn more about the Air Jordan 39).

Kicking off the month of notable Air Jordan releases is the return of the Air Jordan 1 Low “Paris”. Originally dropping in 2020 as a Europe-exclusive City Series, this elegant AJ1 returns at the right time as the Olympic Games are set to go underway later this month.

The only Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG confirmed for July is this “First In Flight” that honors North Carolina’s role in aviation. This women’s exclusive drops on July 6th (PS/TD sizes expected).

Jordan Brand’s boutique collaborations continue with Paris-based Oqium. This Air Ship is inspired by the neighborhood of their flagship store.

The Air Jordan 3 “Black Cement” isn’t dropping until later this year, but you can buy the baseball cleat version on July 13th for $190.

Jordan Brand recognizes the 2024 WNBA All-Star Game in Phoenix with an apt “Desert Camo” version of the Air Jordan 3 Retro.

While not yet officially announced, the A Ma Maniere x Air Jordan 3 is expected to drop later this month.

Jordan Brand recalls Michael’s baseball aspirations with this grey/black/white take loosely inspired by the Birmingham Barons, the Minor League affiliate of the Chicago White Sox.

Nigel Sylvester is set to debut the Air Jordan 4 RM to the market with this Bike Air collaboration inspired by his grandma’s driveway.

The Air Jordan 39 is confirmed to debut on July 23rd, 2024 in the “Sol” colorway. Expect a $200 MSRP. Another Air Jordan 39 is also expected days later.

The official Olympic tributes begin with this all-grey Air Jordan 4 Retro. Mens and GS sizes are expected on July 27th.

Jordan Brand’s WINGS initiative continues with this special take on the Air Jordan 3; these are currently marked for a release on July 30th.
