What do Jrue Holiday, Tyrese Haliburton and Domantas Sabonis have in common? They’re all set to represent their country on the national stage in Paris, and they’re all adopters of the Nike Zoom GT Cut 3, arguably the premier in-line Nike Basketball product in the current arsenal. With that international stage comes increased visibility, so there’s no better time to iterate on the silhouette’s success. The recently-unveiled GT Cut Cross is back once again ahead of the opening ceremony, sporting a tonal blend of grey & yellow.
In case this is your first time catching the silhouette, the FlyWire tech from the parent model is replaced with a swatch of TPU, intended to maintain the same stability for crossover moves. The sole is tweaked compared to the Cut 3, but boasts an identical blend of Foam and Air to the comparable GT Cut Academy model.
Aesthetically, a gradient most prominent on the midsole takes the shoe from that neutral grey to sunshine yellow at the forefoot. Taken as a whole, it makes for arguably the most reigned-in colorway of the GT Cut Cross we’ve seen so far, eschewing the neon shading of past colorways for pastel tonality.
The Nike Zoom GT Cut Cross “Grey/Yellow” is expected to land this Fall, retailing for $110. Catch official images embedded below to get a sense for this shoe before it hits shelves.
