The New Balance 1906R Surfaces In “Sea Salt/Grey”

Another tonal colorway drops soon.

The New Balance 1906R Surfaces In “Sea Salt/Grey”

The New Balance 1906R is one of the most significant sneakers of 2024. Collaborations and retailer-exclusives have been abundant, and new, compelling general release options seem to pop up every day, appeasing sneakerheads and casual consumers at the same time.

While Action Bronson shoes continue to dominate the 1906R newswire, we’re now learning of a mainline “Sea Salt/Grey” pair for Fall 2024; another contemporary addition to the 2009 runner’s modern catalog. A soft, tonal color palette is married with sensible materials, as the quarter overlays and toe cap come crafted from suede. The forefoot panels are comprised of “Sea Salt” leather, while the base opts for a tighter mesh fabric compared to other colorways, a decision that somewhat mutes the shoe’s Y2K aesthetic in tandem with simple colors. Short of a true monotone edition, the lining, TPU heel, and various midsole elements deliver grey accents.

The New Balance 1906R “Sea Salt/Grey” is expected to arrive at retailers in the near future for $155 in men’s sizing. See detailed images below and tap our Sneaker Release Dates page to keep pulse with all the latest drops from the Boston brand.
