SB Sensibilities Mark The Nike Dunk Low “Monsoon Blue”

Neutral tones ground a rich oceanic base.

SB Sensibilities Mark The Nike Dunk Low “Monsoon Blue”

While Dunks continue to be crowd pleasers in metro areas worldwide, those who fell in love with the silhouette during its early 2000s heyday will always hold a special place for both the fat tongue SB Dunk and colorways inspired by that era. The Dunk Low “Monsoon Blue” may not carry the skate-minded tooling, but there’s no denying SB leanings were a guiding light in its creation.

As it often is, a gum sole is the clearest indication of Nike SB influence here. However, the dominant “Monsoon Blue” suede on the upper ventures towards the same territory, establishing a tonal atmosphere we’ve seen plenty with Orange Label releases like the SB Dunk Low “University Navy” or SB Dunk Low “University Red.” The elevated material touches do a lot to bring this pair above an ever-crowded field of Dunk drops without sacrificing the everyday appeal of Peter Moore’s composition.

The Nike Dunk Low “Armory Navy” is projected to drop this Fall, landing on Nike.com & retail shelves for $125.
