So far, the Nike Air Max Dn has been almost exclusively an in-house silhouette. That is to say, with the exception of lock-step collaborator Supreme, no one outside of Beaverton has been given the chance to twist and tinker with the spotlight model- until now. The England-based retailer is set to mint their first Swoosh collaboration of 2024 when the Size? Air Max Dn drops later this year.

Just as previous link-ups have showcased the Size? team’s willingness to get funky, this is arguably their most experimental shoe so far. The hardware changes on this Dn are wide ranging; the synthetic textiles on the upper switch to a nylon-like arrangement, the haptic print hat sits above it steers towards a scattershot, almost Morse-code layout and the wraparound mudguard revamps in full leather.

Additionally, while the four Air chambers under the heel remain a central design piece, their overall presence is reduced by a matte white paint job. Closing out the physical swaps, two pull tabs are grafted onto the Air Max Dn, one at the heel and one on the tongue. Even in terms of the palette, the overall outfit departs pretty drastically from looks we’ve seen so far. The contrasting white lower half is one thing, but the mauve shading that sits central on this profile is a far cry from the pastel or neutral editions that have defined the Dn’s run so far.

With Size? themselves just themselves unveiling this shoe, release details are understandably scant at the time of writing. However, alongside this first look photo, they promised more details coming soon via their ?previews segment, a new edition of that franchise expected soon.
