The Nike Air Force 1 “Dark Pewter” Is Already Ready For Winter

Nike has long made a habit out of re-tooling the Air Force 1 for the colder months, and while we’ve still got plenty of summer left, several newly surfaced pairs ring as compelling options for the seasons to come. Continuing to embrace dark color palettes and winter-ready materials, this “Dark Petwer” low-top comes packed with notable touches.

Kicking thing off up top, the base is comprised of what appears to be a layer of synthetic material over mesh fabric, enhancing the shoe’s weatherproofing function through the absence of perforations. One layer above, the overlays come crafted out of nubuck while the Swoosh introduces a coarse, granite-like texture. Adding even more intrigue, the tongue features sporty, athletic mesh and premium leather branding, complemented by a debossed black-on-grey “Nike Air” backtab logo to match. Pivoting underfoot, a cream midsole and grey outsole round out the look.

The Air Force 1 “Dark Pewter” ($130) doesn’t have a release date yet, but its overarching aesthetic suggests a Fall/Holiday 2024 arrival. Enjoy official images below and tap our Sneaker Release Dates page to preview more upcoming pairs by the Beaverton brand.
