Anthony Edwards Nods To Georgia With This Upcoming adidas AE1

First previewed during All-Star Weekend 2024, the adidas AE1 “Georgia” finally has a firm release date as it matriculates at retailers on September 7th.

Anthony Edwards was a one-and-done standout at Georgia, dazzling the nation with his scoring and leaping ability. It led to him being selected first over-all in the 2020 NBA Draft, and in just four seasons, Edwards has risen to become one of the young superstar faces of the league that will be given the responsibility of carrying the torch once the current generation of stars hangs it up for good.

The AE1, of course, continues to push forward full steam ahead. With the recent release of the AE1 Low “Ascent” and several styles promised throughout the Fall season, the AE1 in both its Mid and Low formations will be among the best sellers on the performance hoops market.

Keeping to the standard two-toned color-blocking, this latest colorway of Anthony Edwards shoes features an all-red TPU Win and sole, matching the primary accent color of the Georgia Bulldogs. Black appears at the upper and ankle, with tonal laces, eyelets, and carbon fiber plating at the heel. Finally, white materialized on the adidas Performance logo at the heel.

A release date is currently expected on September 7th, 2024 for $120 on adidas.com and partnering retailers.
