Russell Westbrook’s Jordan One Take 5 Goes “Cool Grey”

The icy color way still looms large.

Russell Westbrook’s Jordan One Take 5 Goes “Cool Grey”

From the Air Jordan 3 to the Air Jordan 9 to the Air Jordan 11, “Cool Grey” has an unshakeable place in the mind of sneakerheads everywhere. It’s the iconic status of the color way that’s lead to its application on a consistent basis across all of Beaverton’s output (the Vapormax Plus and GT Cut 3 two recent examples.) Now, presumptive Denver Nugget Russell Westbrook is unveiling his take on the concept, the Jordan One Take 5 “Cool Grey.”

Even centering around the famous neutral shade, the cost-minded basketball shoes still champion off-kilter design language all the same. The mesh that runs down the center of the shoe, abutted by suede panelling on either side and a TPU lacestay/mudguard section all embrace some sort of grey tonality. On the edges of those sections however, you see the enduring wild touches. Jagged exposed stitching, a contrast jet black leather eyestay on the lateral side and a sawtooth cut out on the toe-box ensure you can still tap into the sheer energy of #0 even in a more laidback outfit.

The Jordan One Take 5 “Cool Grey” is expected to hit Nike channels soon, carrying the typical $100 MSRP. Enjoy official images just below while we await a concrete date.
