Gunna Debuts New adidas Aruku Colorway At Broccoli City Festival

Another splashy moment for the Aruku's official spokesman.

Gunna Debuts New adidas Aruku Colorway At Broccoli City Festival

Taking the stage alongside the likes of Megan Thee Stallion & Key Glock, Gunna headlined Broccoli City Festival in D.C. this past weekend, making his own headlines in the process as he continued a personal rollout of the brand new adidas Aruku.

In this new look, the Aruku marches on with eccentric first look colorways, iterating on the arresting atmosphere of the red & white edition that brought the model into the consciousness. Here, an ombre from neon green to beige weaves across the whole shoe, taking to the thin synthetic overlays that branch over the entire upper. cobalt mesh construction sets the foundation underneath, while vent-like Three Stripes side branding links the adidas Aruku back to the mainline in futuristic fashion.

While certainly the ultra-high stack height and adizero sub-head attached to the model point to it being a true performance runner, talented as he may be, you likely won’t be spotting Gunna on the trail any time soon. Instead, the subtle marketing push where the “pushin P” rapper  continues to pull the new silo out of the closet on festival stages sets up a lifestyle/streetwear bend even before it hits the shelves.

As of writing, the adidas Aruku is expected to make its public debut in 2025. For now, peep on-foot images taken amid the Broccoli City festivities.
