Superheroes and villains are taking the footwear market by storm in 2024. While there’s a ton of energy around Marvel, including Deadpool and Wolverine and Spider-Man shoes by adidas and ASICS, DC Comics is joining in on the fun as well. Batman’s batmobile is the subject of this latest Crocs collaboration, set to arrive during the Fall 2024 shopping season.
Taken in stealthy back makeup, the Classic Clog is decorated by thoughtful additions inspired by the Caped Crusader’s vehicle-weapon hybrid. The top portion of the sides gets a glossy black finish, with wheels appearing on the forefoot and heel portions. Yellow headlights, red taillights, and exhaust pipes build further on the theme, and turbine-inspired elements are placed on the toe and heel. Batman’s wings assume the role of spoilers up top, while glossy grey material mimics the look of a window shield. Delicate laser-engraved graphics appear over the “hood” of the shoe, joined by jibbitz charms of the Batman logo and batmobile.
These are expected to arrive Fall 2024 in adult and potentially kid’s sizes, although Crocs hasn’t floated a firm release date at the time of this writing. Stick with us while we provide updated information as it comes in.
