Devin Booker’s Nike Book 1 “I’ll Do It” Pack References His Legendary Tweet Response To Kyle Kuzma

Devin Booker’s second Olympic Gold Medal secured in Paris might’ve been his most redeeming yet. The stock of the Phoenix Suns star guard has shot up immensely due his pivotal role as “superstar role player”, doing all the unheralded dirty work while supplying scoring when needed. Already established as one of the best scorers the game has today, D Book is finally being recognized for being the all-around anchor needed for a championship-level team.

On his Instagram stores, Booker shared a closer look at this Nike Book 1 Player Exclusives made specifically for the Gold Medal final just a few weeks ago. Sporting the navy pair with the iridescent, safari-patterned Swoosh, Devin helped Team USA win the Gold Medal in exciting fashion. He also reveals a “Home” white colorway that didn’t see action, but perhaps he and Nike have some plans down the road.

What caught our eye was his suggestion for a name for this dynamic duo of sneakers. The “I’ll Do It” Pack? is a direct reference to his legendary tweet response to close pal Kyle Kuzma, who challenged NBA stars to play that integral role player position. Booker simply responded with “I’ll Do It”, and fulfilled that promise to the utmost in Paris.

It would be great to see these release to the public on some degree, although no such drop has been confirmed. The next Book 1, however, is the Book 1 “Python” this September.
