The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 “Metallic Burgundy” Is Fitted For Hiking Activities

Once designed for long-distance running, the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 has found itself a new home on the streets. In recent years, it’s been at the forefront of the casual tech-runner movement, bringing its all-out comfort sensibilities to daily rotations. Nike has presented this performance lifestyle model in a wide array of colorways already, but they’re ready to add a touch of that hiking aesthetic with some thoughtful changes.

First off, the colorway appears in a metallic burgundy matched with black and an anodized blue on the Swoosh. The midsole adheres to a stealthy, night-time appeal with an all-black arrangement, while the upper boasts reflective panels aplenty for that visibility. Where Nike changes things up is the swapped laces, replacing the classic sport laces for paracord-style bungee laces that features a lace-lock for that custom lock-down fit.

It’s possible that Nike has more colorways of this Zoom Vomero 5 style coming this Fall/Winter, so stay tuned for further developments and check out the official Nike images just below.
