Matt Varga As a constant inclusion in Nike’s seasonal offerings, it’s no shock that the Air Jordan 1 Mid has recieved several new colorways as Fall creeps closer and closer. The latest employs some eye-catching color-blocking as it tools up for the cooler winter ahead.
WHile the use of beige and subtle ceram isn’t overly noteworthy, the layout certainly is. The darker hue paints the heel cup and toeguard, squeezing in between panels of blackberry purple on the eye-stays. The lighter instead takes to the collar, Swoosh, toe-box and outsole, creating an airy anchoring effect when looking at the full profile. Finally, reliable notes of off-white drape the quarter, the laces and the midsole, rounding out an all-together complementary outfit.
