Several tech runners from the 2000s and 2010s are relishing in modern renaissances, and for Nike, the Vomero 5 stands as the brand’s strongest appeal to all those riding the Y2K fashion wave. Both new and old colorways have released throughout the course of 2024 thus far, giving consumers myriad options when it comes to colors, materials, and overarching design themes.

This latest pair takes a conservative approach, calling in standard materials and color blocking for an agreeable yet still intriguing retro-futuristic vibe. A white mesh base and leather underlays set the table, the latter of which come with reflective accents in familiar fashion. The quarter, tongue, and top sliver of the midsole add some contrast in “Armory Navy,” while the Swoosh and geometric heel counter deliver splashes of “Metallic Silver.” Otherwise, Nike adds a “Sail” midsole for a slight pre-aged, vintage feel.

These are poised to hit shelves during the Fall 2024 shopping season for $160 in men’s sizing; see official images below and tap our Sneaker Release Dates page to browse more upcoming tech runners.
