Alternating Miami Colors Appear On The Nike LeBron NXXT Gen AMPD

Nike bridged the gap between past and present with the LeBron NXXT Gen AMPD, combining the DNA of the King’s first Air Zoom Generation signature with the modern day LeBron NXXT Gen series. Prolific in its colorway options, this top-performing hoops shoe makes headlines once more as it returns to South Beach with a distinct clear-cut Miami vibe.

As you can tell, Nike chose to alternately block the chief colors. A bright teal-adjacent Mineral Blue appears on one shoe, while a blazing hot Light Wild Mango appears on the other. These are more aligned with the Miami Dolphins than with the teal/pink that will forever be associated with LeBron’s first and only tenure with the Heat, but the appeal of the SoFla hues is undeniable.

There’s plenty more to come on the King James footwear front; the official launch of the LeBron 22 is due at the end of September, while his first signature training shoe, the LeBron TR1, is set to arrive even sooner.

Nike.com will stock these soon for $170 so check out the official images for now and stay tuned for fim release date information.
