Nike is resurrecting grails like there’s no tomorrow. Originally released in 2006, we’re learning that the Stash x Air Force 1 will return with notable material tweaks in 2024.
While maybe not as mythical as the Wu-Tang Dunk or Undefeated Jordan 4, two prized collaborations that are also poised to come back, every Stash x Nike project conjures memories of the early 2000s when the concept of collaborations was still in its infancy. Best known for his work on the Air Max BW and Air Max 95, the NYC-based graffiti artist played a role in nurturing the collab-heavy footwear industry we see today.
The upcoming Stash x Air Force 1 features the same bluescale palette of its predecessor as well as all Stash x Nike shoes, but the material composition is altered. The toe box comes with a layer of TPU around the lip, and the light blue nylon underlay sports a different, tactile finish. Nike also adds graffiti-inspired Stash branding to the tongue in place of “Nike” text as see on the 2006 release.
We’ve also heard rumors of a potential Stash x Air Max 95 re-release, but Stash publicly denied them. If circumstances change, however, we might see a similar assortment of material changes.
Release information for the Stash x Air Force 1 is under wraps at the time of this writing, but know that this page as well as our Sneaker Release Dates hub will be kept current with all the latest details and images.
