Nike Rolls Out A “Triple Black” Air Max Plus Drift For Kids

An everlasting colorway arrives in GS sizing.

Nike Rolls Out A “Triple Black” Air Max Plus Drift For Kids

Nike juggles a host of spotlighted products every year. It’s unquestionably the Air Max Plus’ turn in 2024. That’s due in no small part to the Air Max Plus Drift, an offshoot of the Tn proper that brought maximalist design and heavy TPU to the silhouette. Just days ago, we reported Nike’s plans to bring the Air Max Plus Drift to the younger crowd as we look to Fall/Winter, and now one of the more popular colorways is getting in on the fun.

Visually, there may not be much animated intrigue with this edition, an earnest all-black outfit. However, faithful to the Air Max Plus Drift “Triple Black” in adult sizing, carbon fiber paces underneath the exaggerated TPU waves, further emphasizing the sleek atmosphere with these kids’ kicks.

Strategically, bringing the Plus Drift to kids is a sensible move. While the Air Max Plus isn’t a flimsy model by any means, the added TPU sections certainly add an extra layer of durability. The Tn’s penchant for expressive colorways, since extended with the Plus Drift, additionally sets this GS run up for success.

As of writing, there’s no concrete release date for the GS Nike Air Max Plus “Triple Black,” but watch Nike.com and retail shelves in the coming months. Importantly, a $150 retail price is confirmed for this size down pair and likely any future colorways.
