Metallic Gold And Silver Wrap The Nike Shox R4

Similar to a pair from 2020.

Metallic Gold And Silver Wrap The Nike Shox R4

Few sneakers conjure memories of the early 2000s like Nike Shox. So now that Y2K aesthetics are all the rage, it makes sense that Nike would want to release the series’ most popular models with more frequency. The Beaverton brand’s Fall 2024 slate includes several Shox TL and Shox R4 deliveries, the latter of which now includes an eye-catching black and metallic mix.

Official images showcase “Metallic Gold” molded sidewalls and a black upper portion and outsole, with the heel cushioning chambers fulfilling a podium-worthy palette in “Metallic Silver.” Such flashy colors are frequent guests on the retro running-turned-lifestyle shoe, with a similar black and gold colorway arriving as recently as 2020. Notably, aftermarket prices for that shoe soar over the $300 mark. This “same but different” colorway features a slightly dimmer gold shade and different accent detailing in addition to silver chambers, but lends a comparable aesthetic nonetheless.

Nike hasn’t mentioned a release date, but all indications suggest the shoes will arrive during the Fall 2024 shopping season for $150. Scroll through the full image gallery below and tap our Sneaker Release Dates page for more.
