Big goals for September and October.

Francisco Lindor Is Releasing His Own New Balance Signature Collection As He Continues MVP Push

The NL MVP debate may be split down the middle, but both candidates are playing for the same team off the field. New Balance is the official endorsee of both Shohei Ohtani and Francisco Lindor — the two players who are largely considered to be in the running for the National League MVP award.

One on hand, Ohtani is aiming for MLB history as the first-ever 50/50 (fifty home-runs and stolen bases) player. He also plays for the Los Angeles Dodgers, the best team in the league on a wins standpoint. No stat-sheet can really stand up to what Shohei is tallying, but every single hit recorded by Francisco seems to be consequential as the Mets look to overcome a horrid start and earn a playoff seed. There’s also the defensive aspect; Lindor is a frontrunner for a Gold Glove award, whereas Ohtani has served solely as a DH, seeing action in only half of the game (his injury prevented him from pitching this season).

Regardless of who the true NL MVP is, New Balance is recognizing Lindor’s incredible season with the launch of The Lindor Signature Collection on September 12th. The capsule is anchored by the perfect Fall-friendly earth tones of khaki, cream white, and navy, seen across the jacket, pullover fleece, and cargo-style pants.

On the footwear side of things of the collection, the shortstop’s signature off-field shoe, the Lindor 2 Pre-Game, is also featured in a matching colorway. The entire collection will be available on September 12th directly from newbalance.com. The shoes will retail for $109.99.
