“Green Strike” Dominates This Nike Dunk Low

As we sit in the height of transitional weather, neon notes are beginning to fade out as more tonal treatments come to the forefront once again. The Nike Dunk Low never got the memo. In truth, Peter Moore’s design is ubiquitous enough to swerve around a reliance on perfect seasonal looks, and the “Green Strike” colorway on tap for FW ’24 rejects the concept entirely.

Relying on the everlasting “Be True To Your School” two-tone layout, this edition of the Dunk Low pastes radioactive “Green Strike” on top, slightly twisting the classic arrangement by instead utilizing off-white “Sail” in place of pure white. It stands out largely because of that subversion, relying on bright, in-your-face tonality within a framework that typically utilizes more muted hues. Add that to the overriding off-season atmosphere, and you’ve got an extremely eye-catching look on a shoe we’re all so well familiar with.
