The adidas Radlander Series Is Built For The Outdoors

Two styles are available now.

The adidas Radlander Series Is Built For The Outdoors

Since 1991, adidas EQT has met the needs of athletes and adventurers with a wide selection of utility-focused footwear. Models like the EQT Support and Cushion come to mind, but the sub-brand is also privy to re-issuing archived models from time to time. Their latest revival is the Radlander EQT hiking shoe from 1997, available now in both a traditional and never-before-seen style.

Starting with the Radlander EQT proper, the shoe comes with a rugged torsion-equipped outsole, large protective lace flap, and fully waterproof “Cardboard” brown upper. Blue and orange accents add some 1990s trail shoe sensibility, falling around the tongue flap and collar, respectively.

Meanwhile, adidas has also come out with an all-new take on the Radlander called the Radlander Moc. The new shoe adopts the sole of its parent model, but the top half is, of course, entirely different. Taken in “Wonder Beige,” the shoe features a puffy nylon base and bungee lacing system, comprising a suitable wear for pre and post-hiking activities. Compared to its trail-worthy counterpart, the Radlander Moc fits better into the “gorpcore” genre with a more casual aesthetic suitable for quick trips out the house.

As mentioned, both shoes are available now from adidas in men’s sizing. The Badlander EQT retails for $180, while the Radlander EQT Moc costs $120. See detailed images below and take advantage of the purchase links in our “Where To Buy” sections if you’re moved to cop a pair.
