PUMA And KidSuper Enlist Stand-Up Comic Royalty To Debut Latest Collection

Three collab pairs land September 21st.

At this point, KidSuper is undeniably PUMA’s strongest collaborator, now issuing co-branded pieces on a seasonal basis and even coming together on LaMelo Ball’s PUMA MB.03 earlier in 2024. Like clockwork, as fashion brands issue their FW24 collection, a new KidSuper PUMA collab is on the horizon, unveiled in the third edition of the brand’s “Funny Business” activation.

The likes of Marlon Wayans, Earthquake, Kevin Herrera, DC YoungFly and Sam Morill descended on the Apollo Theater for the half-runway show, half-comedy festival, an event KidSuper throws with regularity. In fact, as part of the promo effort, founder Colm Dillane shared highlights of its Paris predecessor, boasting heavyweights like Andrew Schultz, Andrew Santino and Theo Von, all of course sporting some KidSuper curated & crafted looks.

Jumping back to the product itself, the latest link-up folds in the soccer-minded Palermo and two takes on the Easy Rider. Both models get relatively major overhauls, but the Palermo sees the biggest material changes. Though the simplified, football-minded shape of the silhouette remains, a mesh base layer replaces its typical leather, and an additional curved panel slides down across the quarter. The Easy Rider, meanwhile, gets characteristically amoeba-like patches layered onto its upper, dressed in equally expected palettes of pastel blue & pink and royal purple, tan and brown.
