ASICS Mutes The GEL-Kayano 14 In “Clay Grey”

There aren’t many shoes that are hard to cop at retail nowadays, but the ASICS GEL-Kayano 14 is one of them. The catalyst behind the tech-runner movement has only become more and more popular since Kiko Kostadinov helped bring it back in 2020, now approaching five years at the forefront of sneakerhead consciousness. With autumn and winter top of mind, ASICS drops metallic silver in favor of “Clay Grey” suede on this latest upcoming pair.

The top half of the shoe centers around a monochromatic mix of grey shades, delivering a non-imposing, versatile look and feel. The titular “Clay Grey” suede overlays are met with a slightly lighter mesh base, while the sidewall logos appear in black for balance. Moving underfoot, the midsole lends a pre-aged, oxidized vibe in off-white, adding some sophistication.

The GEL-Kayano 14 “Clay Grey/Black” is available now in Australia and will hit ASICS channels here in the U.S. shortly. Keep this page as well as our Sneaker Release Dates hub handy for further updates. As mentioned, these are expected to move quickly.
