Sorry fellas, this latest ASICS Sportstyle capsule is for women only. Continuing to relish in the tech-runner trend, the Japanese brand is touching down with two compelling gradient colorways of two of its most popular models; the Kayano 14 and GEL-1130.
Both shoes rely heavily on metallic silver overlays, a semi-standard feature on ASICS Sportstyle shoes, and make use of similar yet distinguishable gradient bases. Beginning with the GEL-1130, the cost-conscious ASICS tech runner, the shoe features a cotton candy-esque mix of blue and pink on its base and outsole. Steering focus to the GEL-Kayano 14, surely the more headline-worthy model at play, ASICS brings slightly more pastel shade of blue and pink up top. Moreover, while the GEL-1130 comes with a white midsole, the Kayano 14 gets more flushed out with off-white treatments on top of tan and light green GEL capsules for variety.
