Need more evidence that the Green Goblin, Spider-Man’s nemesis, is a true New Yorker? He was wearing the Nike Air Flightposite in 2002’s Spider-Man movie. Famously portrayed by Willem Dafoe, Norman Osborn’s evil alter ego actually wore the iconic basketball shoe as the funky design fit the costume of the villain. Now, Nike is bringing back the famed colorway in the current Clogposite roll-out.
The Nike Clogposite, a cult hit of the early 2000s, has made a triumphant return in 2024, showing off its high appeal to the fashion crowd while being hotly coveted by shoeheads thanks to Supreme. With several in-line colorways already out on the market and more to come, Nike is adding this goblin-esque green colorway to the mix, applying the slight color-shifting finish to the slip-on mule.
The entire foam-molded upper is flooded with the familiar shade, while a black arrives on the stretchy, form-fitting padding on the upper, the interior lining, and the outsole.
Nike is set to drop this Clogposite “Green Goblin” during the final quarter of the year for $140; expect these on SNKRS and select retailers. A quick note on the Clogposite: these do run small, so we suggest moving up at least half a size.
