Arriving Holiday 2024.

Nubuck Overlays Settle On The Nike Air Max 1 “Light Iron Ore”

For the Nike Air Max 1, 2024 has been a year defined by the return of several prized collaborations, including Jay Chou’s “Grand Piano,” three pairs by HUF, and most recently, the Patta x Air Max 1 “Chlorophyll.” Meanwhile, the Tinker Hatfield classic has also gone about business as usual on the mainline, releasing in several colorways that use “Sport Red” blocking and fresh looks that feature a balanced variety of non-traditional materials. This latest pair falls in the latter of those two categories, set to land during the Holiday 2024 shopping season.

Official images showcase a monochrome assortment of grey shades, save for wheat accents on the tongue and heel branding, Air bubbles, and outsole for a bit of fall flavor. The mudguard and Swoosh are both comprised of “Light Iron Ore” nubuck, while patches of “Light Orewood Brown” suede appear on the forefoot and heel. A grey leather quarter and “Summit White” mesh base complete the top half, polished off by a white midsole underfoot. All told, it’s a versatile shoe with a clear autumnal aesthetic that can surely slot into any rotation.

Currently, the Air Max 1 “Light Iron Ore” is expected to arrive Holiday 2024 for $140 in men’s sizing. Scroll through official images below if you’re considering copping a pair.
