Nigel Sylvester Reveals A New Air Jordan 4 RM “Bike Air” With University Blue

Nigel Sylvester deserves a bulk of the credit for bringing the Air Jordan 4 RM to market. With his “Grandma’s Driveway” leading the way earlier this summer for a full arsenal of Jordan 4 RM colorways to hit stores, the Queens-based BMX dynamo has once again proved his worth to the sneaker game as one of the most influential athlete figures out there.

A special guest of Sneaker Con’s massive NYC show this weekend, Nigel Sylvester made sure to bring the heat as he sported a never-before-seen colorway of his Air Jordan 4 RM “Bike Air” collaboration. Draped in a mix of grey shades on the upper with a muslin-tinted midsole, this bike-specific version of the AJ4 RM features touches of that iconic University Blue on the modified heel logo and the forefoot Swoosh.

Upon closer inspection, Nigel’s new kicks are rather similar to the Air Jordan 4 RM “Iron Grey” that’s set to launch this year; among the differences are the standard Nike Air logo at the heel, lack of mini-check at the toe, and the materials on the tongue.

Sylvester sported the shoes throughout Sneaker Con’s Saturday event, but if you’re in the area, not to worry: Sneaker Con’s NYC show runs through Sunday, September 22nd. Get tickets here.
