Salomon Opens First Ever US Retail Location In New York City

Salomon just opened their first ever retail outpost in the United States, honing in on their fastest-growing stateside market with a pop-up in New York City’s SoHo.

The temporary installation focuses on Salomon’s sportstyle shoes like the XT-6 and Speedcross, taking aim at a category that’s currently red hot throughout the world and NYC especially. Perhaps more notable is the fact that Salomon plans to open five permeant stores in the US next year, starting with a flagship in the big apple. As you might expect, the pop-up will serve an experiment of sorts.

Steve Doolan, President of the Americas, Salomon states: “New York has been a global cultural hub for decades, and its community has long known and adopted Salomon. Most recently that connectivity has been to some of its most vaunted heritage styles, which are seen everyday on the streets of New York City. Seeing that adoption was motivation to speak to and connect directly through a store.”

SoHo dwellers can check out the pop-up at 169 Spring Street from now until January 2025. See detailed images of the interior below and head on in if something catches your eye.
