DTLR’s close-knit union with New Balance has yielded some of the most coveted NB silos in recent memory. They ushered in spring with the “Cyan Burst” 9060 earlier this year, and even celebrated the late December festivities with a kids-only 990v6 that conjured up the warmth of the Christmas holiday spirit. Now, they’ve got their sights set on the outer limits of the planetary stratosphere with the New Balance 1906R “Starry Nights”, the latest chapter of their exclusive partnership with NB.

Inspired by the quest to uncover the mysteries of the cosmos, DTLR concocts a vibrant colorway that captures the allure of space exploration through an outstanding mix of bright Energy Lime, Helium blue, and Dynomite hot orange. These colors are typical of the intergalactic outer-scape where images of imploding stars, supernovas, and other galaxies fill in the wonder of outer space.

To present the project, DTLR linked with AMP’s @chrisnxtdoor_ to showcase the 1906R “Starry Nights” around Manhattan, effortlessly revealing just how fitting the sneaker is in the downtown street-fashion scene as Fall’s later months loom.

This collaborative release is confirmed to launch exclusively on DTLR in-store and online on October 11th, 2024; adult ($165), grade school ($120), and pre-school ($110) are expected to be available.
