Game Recognize Game? The Nike Giannis Immortality 4 Goes “Joker”

The MVP dips into another all-time player's canon.

Game Recognize Game? The Nike Giannis Immortality 4 Goes “Joker”

As one of a select few bearing the title of “Nike signature athlete,” Giannis’ signature line is inherently at the forefront of the basketball shoes world. However, his tentpole Freak 6 is just one of two new additions for the 2024-25 NBA season, rolled out nearly simultaneously alongside the Giannis Immortality 4. A cost-minded takedown series, the Immortality is set to appear in a blend of “Hyper Violet” & “Green Strike” that has us thinking Antetokounmpo might be playing the villain role this upcoming year.

The curvilinear geometry of the model continues to impression in this “Joker” application, particularly given that most of the real estate here is taken up by all-over purple. The molded heel and almost dripping, wavy construction of the midsole create notable playful interplay, a fitting touch with how most colorways release in both adult & GS sizing.

To create the DC Comics atmosphere we’re alluding to, neon green outlines an all-black Swoosh. While a direct reference to Jokic or his namesake is probably unlikely, what we can confirm as that all these elements create a genuinely eye-catching shoe, a perfect complement to the eye-popping numbers Giannis puts up on a nightly basis.

Look for the Nike Giannis Immortality 4 “Joker” this Holiday season, arriving in men’s sizing at $85.
