Much the same way as the Jordan 4 RM ruled our coverage for a number of months following its splashy Nigel Sylvester debut, consumers should start to get familiar with the Jordan Flight Court, with a deluge of colorways coming after its own Who Decides War moment. The new proposition shoe notches off a delicate layout with its latest blue & sail look.

Relying on the default suede-heavy composition that’s marked most of the pairs so far, soft tones of aquamarine and celadon collide on the Jordan 4-inspired upper, including the textile crosshatch takes cues from the AJ4’s iconic netting. The aquatic overhaul is comprehensive, tinted to a deeper shade on the sock liner and approaching “Industrial Blue” on the outsole.

To circle back to the RestoMod silhouette, we realized it carried Bike logos underneath the heel tab. By comparison, the simplistic construction of the Jordan Flight Court means that similar sly touches are more unlikely, but will official word from Jordan Brand confirm the tacit skate inspiration for this model? Or is a lifestyle lane the intention?

There are certainly some questions we’d still like answered, but the Jordan Flight Court continues to make a solid first impression as new editions begin to hit the market. Look out for the Jordan Flight Court in blue & sail this Holiday season, retailing at $110.
