“Lightening” Strikes The Nike Giannis Immortality 4

The launch of Giannis Antetokounmpo’s latest signature shoe, the Giannis Freak 6, is unquestionably the top-line news in the Bucks superstar’s world, but don’t sleep on the Giannis Immortality 4. Spawned in the mold of LeBron’s Soldier line, the cost-accessible takedown series continues to roll out new looks on almost a consistent basis as its mainline counterpart. High-energy is the theme for the latest, taking on a “Lightening” motif.

Again manifesting the vibrant design language that’s run throughout each Nike Giannis silo so far, an eclectic blend of “Lightening” yellow, “Hyper Pink” and “University Blue” combine for a decidedly flashy profile. With the reverse Swoosh and curvilinear pronouncements towards the heel already imbuing the Immortality 4 with a sense of kinetic energy, the high-alert palette here only reinforces the shoe’s hardware.

As we’ve discussed in several previous articles, the branding on Giannis’ line continues to be a point of intrigue. Here, the left shoe sports an embroidered house logo, reflecting his GA initials if you really squint. Without any previous homages to a “home” concept or anything similar, the purpose of this new iconography is unclear, but it again demonstrates Beaverton’s willingness to get experimental with the typical proprietary hits on Antetekounmpo’s kicks.

Look for the Giannis Immortality 4 “Lightening” late in 2024 or early in 2025, retailing at $85. Check the gallery ahead for official images and.
